The Amarr Templars have gone rogue! The forefathers of all Immortal soldiers, the first generation of clones have fled their over-bearing witch, Empress Jamyl. By order of the Empress, a bounty has been placed upon the heads of all Templars! 2,500,000 ISK will be paid out to anyone who can kill a Templar Three times during the event!

You, the Player have earned the chance to play as one of the legendary first generation of Cloned Soldiers! The Templars!

Those who do, will be rewarded with one of a kind Templar Dropsuits and Weapons! All you must do is complete 20 matches (Instant battles only) and earn 20,000 War Points over the course of 3 days! To those interested, follow the link below to learn how to sign up as a Templar!

To those joining the hunt for the Rogue Templars, your targets will be named "Amarr Templar 001" through "Amarr Templar 300."

Happy hunting, collect those bounties and make yourself a little ISK on the side.

CCP has further clarified on the subject. It goes as follows:

CCP Cmdr Wang wrote:Hi all, here's some clarification about the Templar Manhunt event.

1. You will receive 2.5 million ISK for scoring 3 Templar kills during the event (not per match). Killing more than 3 Templars during the event period does not result in more ISK rewards.

2. Templar characters will have 1 million skill points to be distributed by players who receive them. You decide what skills your Templar will have, so choose wisely.

3. You may allocate skill points earned by your Templar from the public matches during the event.

4. You must play at least 20 public matches and earn a total of 20,000 War Points during the 3 day event as the Templar in order to qualify for the Templar reward. Matches played without the Templar character and/or without the Templar dropsuit equipped will not count towards the reward requirement!

5. As the Templar, you are only allowed to play in public matches and cannot join a player corporation. Violation of these rules will result in a disqualification to receive the Templar rewards.

6. The Templar characters will be removed from your account after the event is over (during DT on June 3rd).

7. The Templar characters will be seeded into your DUST 514 account during DT on May 31st. We will publish a list of players chosen to be Templars by Thursday, May 30th.

8. As part of our partnership with Sony, we are alloting 100 Templar characters to Sony community members to participate in this event and to promote DUSt 514.

We are encouraged by the interest shown from the community in this event, and will be planning more fun events in the near future!

So the 2.5million ISK reward is paid out only once and you only need 3 Templar kills across all three days, it doesn't have to be the same person.

Those selected to be Templar will be given only 1million SP to fit their suits.

It's no longer 20,000 Skill Points, but 20,000 War Points.
