I sure am, around summer time where I'll have more time on my hands.

Most likely no. Don't have a computer to run it. Mac... Sad

I question my computer's ability to run it as well. Also, at this time I don't have a self-sufficient amount of funds to pay for it.

Otherwise, I'd be more than comfortable with getting an account.

EVE Online supports Macintosh systems. When I say PC, it simply means "personal computer".

Anyway, even if it didn't, you can run it using WINE.
